All quiet on the peeping front

Even though it comes with the territory of ordering hatchery chicks, I hate losing any tiny little fuzz butts. The four I was most worried about on arrival didn’t make it. The remaining 21 all seem much stronger than those 4 and are looking good. They are eating voraciously, drinking often, and are active and moving freely. They seem to be very comfortable with the temperature and we reinforced the brooder against any drafts. I don’t see any chicks that look like they are in trouble at the moment so that’s a good sign!
